IGHS Offers Mentored Grant for Early Stage Investigators

The Institute for Global Health Sciences (IGHS) encourages Early Stage Investigators (ESI) at UCSF to apply for the Mentored Scientist Award in Global Health Research to conduct global health-focused research projects.

This mentored grant created by IGHS is intended to be used to acquire preliminary data with a clear path to independent extramural funding, such as future NIH or equivalent grants. It is offered through the campus-wide Resource Allocation Program (RAP) at the Research Development Office to coordinate intramural research funding opportunities for UCSF and its affiliates.

Applications will be accepted for the Spring 2025 cycle starting January 30, 2025. Apply online by the deadline of March 3, 2025. Results will be available by the end of May 2025. Visit the RAP website to learn more about the Mentored Scientist Award in Global Health Research and how to apply.
