HIV Program Director
Vietnam
The HIV Program Director will represent UCSF in Vietnam. The HIV Program Director will manage, direct, and oversee day-to-day programmatic and operational activities of the program in Vietnam, working closely with the UCSF Program Manager. The HIV Program Director’s main overall strategic leadership responsibility will be to achieve the program’s goals, objectives, and activities focused on the following areas: 1) health systems strengthening including community engagement (HSS); 2) care and treatment; 3) prevention; 4) strategic information; and 5) laboratory procurement. The HIV Program Director will work closely with the UCSF to ensure compliance with Vietnamese laws and regulations, interface with the Government of Vietnam (GVN), and liaise with national and provincial-level regulatory authorities for project approval.

Finance and Operations Manager
Vietnam
The Finance and Operations Manager’s primary responsibility is to competently represent UCSF and manage and respond to financial and operational tasks under the supervision of the Program and Grant Managers at UCSF. The Finance and Operations Manager will prepare monthly and quarterly reports on project expenses; prepare and coordinate the submission of financial reports to UCSF HQ, CDC, and Government of Vietnam (GVN); prepare the advance of funds for domestic and international travel; arrange transportation and accommodation for staff travel; maintain the UCSF equipment and material inventory file; manage multiple administrative requests; and respond to any other requests as needed.

Community Engagement Advisor
Vietnam
The Community Engagement Advisor should be an individual with a lived experience of living with HIV and/or being a member of key population (KP) group, or demonstrated experience of thoughtful, productive work with both of those groups. This position will work closely with the Government of Vietnam (GVN) U.S. CDC Vietnam staff, and community partners, including community advisory boards (CABs) to provide technical support to build capacity and identify program quality gaps, respond to those gaps, and document improvements in treatment access, viral load, provision of KP friendly, competent and appropriate care and broad HIV health literacy among clients and PEPFAR-supported sites.

Clinical Advisor
Vietnam
The Clinical Advisor should be an experienced physician who will work closely with the Government of Vietnam (GVN) and U.S. CDC Vietnam staff to provide technical support to provincial health agencies (e.g., provincial technical teams [PTTs], provincial CDCs, departments of health, etc.) and clinical staff at care and treatment and prevention sites across the country. Under direction from the Clinical Lead at UCSF, this position is expected to work and liaise closely with a wide array of HIV contributors in the health sector, including community advisory boards (CABs) and community partners in Vietnam as well as faculty from UCSF. Comprehensive knowledge of current HIV/AIDS issues, care and support, counseling and interventions, behavior change, testing, treatment and prevention strategies such as PrEP is required.
