Director, Center for Promotion of Advancement of Society, Trial Manager for UCSF Center for TB in Vietnam
Ha Phan is director of the Center for Promotion of Advancement in Society (CPAS) in Hanoi, Vietnam, and co-founder of the organization. She has over 15 years of experience in TB clinical trials, infectious disease epidemiology, and operational research. Phan anchors UC San Francisco’s (UCSF) TB research in Vietnam, collaborating with the National Lung Hospital, Hanoi Lung Hospital, and the Vietnam National TB Program. She has led multiple clinical and diagnostic trials and serves as UCSF’s principal liaison to Vietnamese governmental and regulatory bodies, supporting research operations, capacity building, and mentorship for Vietnam’s next generation of clinical scientists.
