Nisarg Patel is a Chief Resident in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at UC San Francisco (UCSF), with dual degrees in medicine and dentistry. His research focuses on integrating policy and technology to enhance surgical care delivery. Patel envisions the operating room of the future utilizing advanced imaging and augmented reality to improve patient outcomes. He co-founded Memora Health, a Y Combinator-backed company automating outpatient communication, and has served on the life sciences investment team at Bessemer Venture Partners. A 2022 Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree, he has contributed to health policy and economics discussions in publications like The Washington Post and POLITICO. Patel earned his DMD and master’s in biomedical informatics from Harvard University and his MD from UCSF School of Medicine.
