CGN Global Nursing Advisory Council Member, Faculty, and Seed Awardee Joe P. Davies, BSN, RN, and UCSF School of Nursing Faculty and CGN Member, Celina Trujillo, MPH, MSN, RN, will host a dynamic and engaging Journal Club as we explore their December 2025 PLOS Global Health study, Prospective cohort study evaluating feasibility, acceptability, and clinical impact of diabetes self-management education in a PEN-Plus program in Southeastern Liberia. Their study highlights the measurable impact of nurse-led chronic disease initiatives and the expanding role of nursing leadership in advancing global health equity.
