Tumusime Musafiri, BSc, MPH
Tumusime Musafiri is a public health researcher and project manager at Partners In Health, based at the Butaro Cancer Center of Excellence in Rwanda. He holds a BSc in Biomedical Laboratory Sciences and an MPH in Epidemiology and Disease Control and has over eight years of experience leading research and implementation projects with governmental and non-governmental organizations, including PIH, ICAP Columbian University, the African CDC, and University of Global Health Equity (UGHE). He has contributed to more than 17 published papers in global health research, covering infectious diseases, oncology, global health security, and community engagement. In his current role as Patient-Centered Cancer Care Research Project Manager, Musafiri’s work focuses on developing and evaluating interventions to improve patient-centered cancer care in Rwanda.
