Devan Jaganath is a pediatric infectious diseases physician and scientist at UC San Francisco (UCSF), specializing in tuberculosis (TB) and global health research. His work integrates epidemiology, behavioral science, and data science to improve the care of children with TB, including developing and evaluating new diagnostic tools and biomarkers through multi-center clinical studies. Jaganath has led projects on HIV prevention, nutrition, and health systems strengthening, emphasizing sustainable, evidence-based interventions. He is a member of the UCSF Center for Tuberculosis and chairs the Maternal and Childhood TB Initiative. He also mentors early-career researchers and collaborates with international partners to build local research capacity and advance global health equity.
