Please register below to attend the Bay Area World Malaria Day Forum hosted by the Malaria Elimination Initiative at the UCSF Institute for Global Health Sciences on Friday, April 25th from 8 a.m. to noon at UCSF’s Mission Bay Campus. Breakfast will be available beginning at 8 a.m., the Forum will start promptly at 9 a.m. and will be followed by a networking reception with refreshments from 11 a.m. to noon.
For those joining virtually, please join us on zoom from 9 to 11 a.m.
World Malaria Day was established in 2007 by the World Health Assembly to “highlight the need for continued investment and sustained political commitment for malaria prevention and control.” In 2025, World Malaria Day is more important than ever. For Bay Area malaria researchers, advocates, organizations, and funders, this forum is an opportunity to gather, exchange information and ideas, and build collaboration for the malaria fight.
Registration is required for both in-person and virtual attendance.
