This conference- styled group convenes UCSF junior investigators who share an interest in international research to discuss research ideas, challenges, and works-in-progress. The group meets on the first Thursday of the month from 8-9 am at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital. The event offers an informal opportunity for early career investigators to present and discuss research proposals and ideas with their peers and senior advisors.
The topics for discussion are driven by the needs of the researcher, with meeting assigned to a junior investigator, rather than to a topic. Topics for discussion are flexible, and can include:
Ideas for future research
Ongoing project development
Analysis of data that has already been collected ("work-in-progress"), etc;
