Jessica Briggs: Using molecular epidemiology to improve malaria surveillance

8 - 9 am

ZSFG, contact organizer for access

Jessica Briggs, MD, is a Clinical Fellow in Medicine. Her research interest lies in using molecular epidemiology to improve malaria surveillance.

The  Young Investigators’ Conference (YIC) in International Research began as a forum for junior investigators (fellows and faculty) to discuss research that they conduct in international settings.  The topics for discussion are meant to be driven by the needs of the researcher.  Each YIC will be assigned to a junior investigator, rather than a specific topic. Senior investigators with significant experience working in international health research attend as well, to provide advice and feedback in an informal, small group setting. Because unpublished research is discussed, the conference does not allow remote access, and may decide to limit participation. Feel free to reach out to the organizer if you'd like to attend.
