Global Health Sciences (GHS) at UCSF is dedicated to improving health and reducing the burden of disease in the world's most vulnerable populations. GHS works with partners around the world to focus UCSF’s expertise in the health, social, and biological sciences on pressing issues in global health. Through its masters and PhD programs, GHS educates the next generation of leaders in global health.

  • Educate the next generation of leaders in global health
  • Foster groundbreaking research in global health specialties from maternal and newborn child health to strengthening health care systems
  • Partner with agencies and organizations around the global to build sustainable solutions to global health problems
