The UCSF Global Health Faculty Scholars Program was established in 2006 to coordinate and facilitate short-term opportunities for faculty members collaborating with academics, clinicians, and researchers in international partner institutions. Our goal is to strengthen mutually beneficial collaborations by:

  • fostering long-term relationships with our international partners
  • providing a framework for UCSF faculty to engage in Global Health Sciences' overall activities
  • providing a foundation for developing future faculty and student exchanges
The role of a UCSF Global Health Faculty Scholar will vary depending on the interests of the partner institution and the expertise or interests of the faculty member.

We currently have collaborative relationships with partners in China, Croatia, East Africa, India, and Vietnam.
