The Global Health Nursing Speaker Series presents Chris Stewart, MD, the Medical Director of Inpatient Pediatrics at San Francisco General Hospital. Dr. Stewart chairs the Suspected Child Abuse and Neglect meeting, which reviews cases of suspected child abuse and addresses system issues among the various county agencies involved in protecting children. He is also conducting research on child abuse, as well as teaching recognition and management to residents and medical school students. Dr. Stewart completed Pediatric Residency and Chief Residency at University of California, San Francisco.
