Learn about the development and launch of the largest group pregnancy care research trial ever conducted, through a partnership among the UCSF East Africa Preterm Birth Initiative, the University of Rwanda, and Rwanda Biomedical Center. The webinar will last approximately 45 minutes (a 30-minute presentation followed by a 15-minute Q & A). The following topics will be covered:
- The collaboration among Rwandan and US research teams and the Rwanda Ministry of Health
- The co-creation of a context-specific model and monitoring and evaluation plan
- The co-design of a cluster randomized control trial, the plan for large-scale implementation, and the preparation of the human resources needed for a successful rollout
