The Prevention and Public Health Group (PPHG) within Global Health Sciences (GHS) at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), is dedicated to improving health and reducing the burden of disease in the world's most vulnerable populations. Our areas of focus are applied public health research, education, and program improvement. We work with academic, government, and community partners throughout the world using evidence-based methods to build capacity in surveillance, monitoring and evaluation, epidemiology, clinical care, and scientific best practices.
